Police are trying to get more information from a man who was shot on Youngstown’s Northside late Wednesday.

Officers say a gunshot wound victim showed up at Mercy Hospital at around 10 p.m.

Police say the victim isn’t being cooperative, but believe he was shot along Parmalee Avenue near Covington Street, not far from the hospital.

At last report, the man was in stable condition.
