Gas leak shuts down part of Oak Hill Avenue in Youngstown
Some residents have been told to remain in their homes around the Boy’s and Girl’s Club on Youngstown’s Southside.

YOUNGSTOWN - Some residents have been told to remain in their homes around the Boy’s and Girl’s Club on Youngstown’s Southside.
A natural gas well line was cut around 10:30 a.m. along Oak Hill Avenue near West Glenaven Avenue.
Oak Hill Avenue is closed in the area.
Firefighters who went door-to-door to notify neighbors reported that they could smell the faint odor of natural gas in the area.
Work is underway to stop the leak.
