Renovations continue at Sharon stadium
The Tigers open the season at home August 30

Work continues on the renovations being done at Sharon Tiger stadium.
The $1.3 million dollar project is expected to be complete later this month. The field and track was taken out and concrete work was done to the home stands.
The field is being replaced by new sod and there be a new eight foot walking path around the field.
"I'm happy for the kids to get something they'll be proud to walk on and play on," said football coach Jason McElhaney.
"It's going to look great when its done," he continued adding the visiting bleachers will be moved back from their prior location.
The stadium was built in 1934.
Sharon's first home game is scheduled for August 30 against Erie Cathedral Prep.
