Newton Falls Schools offer free breakfast, lunch

NEWTON FALLS, Ohio - Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools is the latest district in the Valley to offer breakfast and lunch at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals to students who qualify for the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.
The program reduces burdens for families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals, according to a news release.
Families with children eligible for school meals may be eligible for free health care coverage through Medicaid and/or Ohio’s Healthy Start & Healthy Families programs.
The programs include coverage for doctor visits, immunizations, physicals, prescriptions, dental, vision, mental health, substance abuse, and more.
