One arrested after several shots fired at Warren bar

WARREN, Ohio - One person has been arrested after shots rang out at a bar in Warren early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, the call came in shortly before 2:00 a.m. Saturday reporting shots fired at a bar on North Park Avenue.
When police got to the scene, they spoke to two women in a vehicle that appeared to be scared. The women told police they heard shots fired in the parking lot and saw two males fleeing southbound.
Police soon located two males, one identified as a juvenile, walking in the area of Paige Avenue and stopped and detained them. Officers checked the two for weapons and found a gun in 18-year-old Tre'von Kelly's pants pocket.
Police say Kelly cannot legally possess a firearm since he is only 18 years old.
According to the report, Kelly told police he and the juvenile were asked to leave the bar and things escalated between them and another man.
Kelly told police that man started firing at him and the juvenile, so they got on their bicycles and fired two shots back at him. No shell casings were found in the area where Kelly claimed he shot at the male.
However, police say eight shell casings were found in the bar parking lot near the cell phone of the man who allegedly shot at the two teens. Police spoke with the man, but could not confirm whether or not he was involved in the incident.
Meanwhile, police released the juvenile, but booked Kelly in the Trumbull County Jail where he's charged with carrying concealed weapons and discharging firearms.
Kelly was arraigned on his charges Monday and is due back in court August 20.
