FAA invests over $175,000 to Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport
The FAA invested $175,820 into the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport to reseal 16,798 square yards of the existing terminal apron pavement and joints to extend its useful life.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced three investments in Ohio totaling $4,499,430 including an investment of over $175,000 for the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Vienna Township.
The FAA invested $175,820 into the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport to reseal 16,798 square yards of the existing terminal apron pavement and joints to extend its useful life.
These funds come from the FAA's Airport Improvements Program.
In a press release, Ohio-based U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown is quoted saying Ohio's airports are vital to support travel and commerce in the state.
"These investments will enhance safety and operations at Northeast Ohio airports and improve travel for Ohio families and businesses," Brown said.
