BOARDMAN, Ohio - Boardman High School hosted its 10th annual YesFest on Friday to encourage students to say no to drugs and say yes to something positive.

This year, Boardman alumnus and retired NFL Center Corey Linsley, who played for the Green Bay Packers, as well as the Los Angeles Chargers made an appearance as the event's guest speaker.

Linsley told 21 News the main point of his speech was to keep learning and never stop.

"Keep learning. Keep being curious. Keep wanting to find out more about whatever it is that you're passionate about, whatever it is you want to learn about. Read more, research more, you can never stop learning," Linsley said.

In a press release, Boardman High School Assistant Principal Kyle Sheehan said YesFest has evolved over the years with different themes like mental health and wellness, as well as volunteerism.
