YOUNGSTOWN - In recognition of Infant Vitality Month, The Greater Youngstown Community Dialogue on Racism hosted a Infant Vitality Block Party, to help spread awareness for expecting moms around the Valley.
The organization partnered with the Youngstown City Health Department Office of Minority Health, The Mercy Health Foundation & Community Health for the event.
The block party offered services from Mercy Health, as well as dental services, and different resources for motherhood and fatherhood support.
It's all to help combat the rising infant mortality rate, and to spread awareness about all the services available to families.
