Tickets are now on sale for the Rotary Club of Youngstown's 7th Annual Groundhog Beerfest. 

The event will be on Saturday, February 1 at Stambaugh Auditorium and will take place in two sessions with the first one taking place from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and the second one taking place from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Both sessions will feature a vast selection of craft beers from breweries from the Mahoning Valley and northeast Ohio. Additionally, several wineries will be a part of the event this year and breweries will be serving several other drink options to suit all tastes.

Each session will also have entertainment with the first one having music courtesy of The Summit FM and the second one having a live performance by Larry Elefante.

Tickets are available in two tiers with general admission tickets costing $50 each and premium admission tickets costing $100 each. Designated driver tickets are also available for $25 each. Tickets grant admission to one of the two sessions.

There are some new perks to premium admission this time around including access to unique beers only available to premium ticketholders, caricatures courtesy of Jimmy's Italian Specialties and Kravitz Deli and a special souvenir tasting glass courtesy of Steelite International.

Proceeds from ticket sales go to the Rotary Club of Youngstown. Thanks to help from the local community and sponsors, the Rotary Club was able to raise over $100,000 from the Beerfest.
