Police in Farrell are looking for a suspect who is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in the city earlier in January.

According to a criminal complaint, 24-year-old Demaund Robinson of Farrell is charged with first degree murder, possession of a firearm prohibited, receiving stolen property, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and multiple drug charges.

These charges all stem from a fatal shooting that took place on the 500 Block of Beechwood Avenue January 4 where 36-year-old Anthony Lewis Jr. died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Witnesses told police the shooting stemmed from a physical fight between Lewis and Robinson on Robinson's front porch. Eventually the fight continued inside the house.

From there, police say a witness heard a gunshot come from inside the house and saw Lewis running outside the house trying to flee followed by Robinson coming out with an "AR style rifle" and threatening to kill Lewis.

The witness told police more gunshots followed those threats.

According to the complaint, police found Lewis slumped in the driver's seat of a car that had wrecked into another parked vehicle. Police say Lewis had multiple bullet holes in his chest, and saw multiple bullet holes in the vehicle.

Police also saw bullet holes near a house where Robinson lives. Officers found several spent casings on the front porch of Robinson's house near the door.

Police later obtained a search warrant for the home. A search of the home led police to find many more bullets and casings throughout the home, an ID belonging to Robinson and two firearms in Robinson's bedroom.

Police say at least one of those guns had been entered as stolen.

According to the complaint, police also found suspected drugs such as cocaine and marijuana and drug paraphernalia throughout the home.

Robinson has not been arrested yet as of this writing.
