The initiative allows individuals in need of psychiatric care to receive help immediately, without waiting weeks or months for an appointment. Patients can walk in or call ahead to be matched with an available provider.

Chief Nurse Practitioner Sarah Pease calls the initiative “vital to our community, vital to recovery, and vital to saving lives.”

The service is available across On Demand Counseling’s locations, providing access to psychiatric evaluations, addiction treatment, and therapy.

"We’re saving lives," said Chief Clinical Officer Kelly Joyce.

The program is open to individuals of all ages, including children, teens, and adults, ensuring that families can access mental health care when they need it most.

On Demand Counseling operates across Mahoning, Columbiana, and Trumbull counties, with telehealth services available statewide.
