PSP investigating an attempted break-in at Mercer Co. gun shop

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an attempted break-in at a gun shop in the 4500 block of Greenville Sandy Lake Road in New Vernon Township in Mercer County.

According to the police report, five people arrived at the gun shop a little after 5 am Sunday and attempted to gain access inside the building through a rear window and rear door. 

After failing to get in, the suspects fled the scene in a black SUV and headed west on Greenville Sandy Lake Road.
