Young teens have been linked to the burglary of Expert Outfitters, according to the NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh.
According to an exclusive story on WPXI, multiple law enforcement sources have told their investigative reporter that teens between the ages of 13 and 15 are linked to the burglaries.
Sources told WPXI that one of the suspects dropped an identification card or a piece of paper with his name or the name of a relative.
That name led investigators to a home in a Pittsburgh neighborhood that had been raided a week earlier for a similar burglary at a Bethel Park gun store where more than 50 firearms were taken.
Authorities found 11 of the stolen guns at the home and identified four teens as suspects, two of whom are now being held by juvenile authorities in Allegheny County. The other two were turned over to their parents.
