Sharon Tube, as a Harvest-level contributor in Mercer County Food Bank's Carrot Club, helped provide 80,000 meals to neighbors in need for the second year in a row.

Carrot Club is a major gift program that occurs every year that helps Mercer County Food Bank get to the root causes of hunger. Businesses and organizations from the area can join at various levels such as Seedling, Sprout, Root, and Harvest to help the food bank.

"We are humbled by the continued generosity of Sharon Tube," said Executive Director of Mercer County Food Bank Rebecca Page. "Not only have they provided 160,000 meals since joining Carrot Club in 2023, but they also volunteer their time to pack boxes and assist at food distributions throughout Mercer County year-round."

Page continues, "Carrot Club supporters are helping to ensure that we have the resources available to continue to bridge the meal gap that exists in Mercer County."

The food bank provides more than 13,000 people with food throughout the communities in Mercer County.
