Person hit by vehicle while riding bicycle in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - First responders were called to Meridian Road in Youngstown Wednesday afternoon after a person was hit by a vehicle.

Information is limited at this time, but a 21 News employee saw a person lying in the road at the intersection of Meridian Road and Oregon Avenue after the person was hit by a car while riding an electric bicycle.

One person was taken to the hospital before our crew arrived at the scene. At this time, the person's condition is unclear.
