Multiple road closures expected across Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN - This upcoming week features multiple road and lane closures for streets across Youngstown for various different reasons.
Starting on Monday, May 5 both the Center St. bridge and Market St. Southbound between the intersections of Commerce St. and Federal St. will have work done on them.
Center St. will be under lane restrictions so that work on the bridge's relief joints can completed until Friday, May 9 but Market St. Southbound will only be closed from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on May 5 so that a buildings HVAC unit can be replaced.
Tuesday, May 6 will see both the intersection of Phelps and W. Federal St and Francesca Ave. between Belmont Ave. and Guadalupe Ave. be closed.
Francesca Ave. will be closed to facilitate a sewer tap on the street.
The intersection of Phelps St and W. Federal St. will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. so that the HVAC unit on Wick Tower can be replaced.
Additional streets in need of closure will be W. Federal St. between Hazel St. and Market St. and Phelps St. between W. Federal and W. Boardman.
Detours will be posted for the closures nearing closer to the time of the scheduled closure.
