Another day, another chance for scattered raindrops

Wednesday will start on the quieter side with a mix of sun and clouds. Breaks of sunshine could help destabilize the atmosphere and lead to a few pop-up showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. High temperatures will reach the mid-70s, with it still being a bit on the muggy side.
A shower could still linger after sunset, but rain chances will come to an end around midnight. Partly cloudy skies Thursday morning will give way to mostly sunny skies during the afternoon. Temperatures will be well above average, jumping into the low-80s.
Clouds will start to increase Thursday evening, and a round of showers and thunderstorms will become likely overnight. A couple of storms could be stronger in nature with gusty winds and small hail. Any lingering showers will come to an end during the morning commute, and skies will turn mostly sunny for a time Friday afternoon. High temperatures will surge into the mid-80s.
Showers and storms will be likely again Friday night into Saturday. Raindrops will taper off Saturday AM, and the rest of the day will be mild but breezy with high temperatures in the mid-70s. Sunday will be the cooler day of the weekend, with temperatures in the mid-60s and a mix of sun and clouds.
The start of next work week looks quiet with some sunshine around on Monday. A cooler pattern will settle in with high temperatures in the mid-60s for much of next week.
