COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - The Columbiana County Board of Elections has come up with the same result after recounting the results of the Columbiana County Municipal Court judge race on Tuesday.
After the recount Tuesday afternoon, candidate Danielle Menning won the race with just a 33 vote difference between her and opponent Kelly Linger. This was the same result reported prior to the recount.
Menning had won the race with 4,414 votes and Linger lost with 4,381 votes.
Fusco explained that races with a margin of less than one half of 1%, meaning a difference of 43 votes or less, trigger an automatic recount.
No other races needed to be recounted.
