NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - PennDOT Route 11 has announced roadway improvement work on Route 158 in Wilmington Township and New Wilmington Borough in Lawrence County has begun Monday.

Singe-lane alternating traffic will occur on SR-158 between SR-18 and Mercer County weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through mid-November. Flaggers will assist drivers through the work zone. 

Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, structure work, base repairs, guide rail updates and pavement markings.

The project will cost $3.87 million and work will be done by Shields Paving.
