Sharon softball advances on walkoff win
With the game tied 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Mya Bundrant's bunt scored Maddie Vogan and the Tigers walked it off with a 2-1 win.
The Sharon softball team won a walkoff thriller over South Park in the Class 3A first round state tournament game at Slippery Rock University.
The Tigers loaded the bases in the bottom of the sixth inning but South Park pitcher Sydney Sekely used an inning ending strikeout to get out of the jam and keep the game scoreless after six innings. Sekely finished with 11 K's.

Sharon standout pitcher Vogan had another strong performance with 12 strikeouts over seven innings. She gave up three hits, one run and walked one.
The Tigers advance to the PIAA State Quarterfinals to play Susquenita Thursday.
