Summer concert season is in full swing with the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre filling up for multiple concerts opening weekend and many more concerts and other special events to come this year.

Opening weekend kicked off Thursday, May 29 with a performance from country singer Riley Green.

From there, local rock band The Vindys was joined by 80s hard rocker Lita Ford for the Rock the Rich Center fundraiser Saturday, May 31 and progressive rockers Coheed & Cambria were joined by heavy metal band Mastodon for another high-energy show Sunday, June 1.

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber (YWRC) commended JAC Management Group for a successful opening weekend.
