The full entertainment schedule has been released for the Simply Slavic Festival in downtown Youngstown.

The festival will take place at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre kicking off at 5 p.m. Friday, June 13 and lasting until 11:50 p.m. Saturday, June 14 and will feature authentic Slavic food and drinks, a Slavic marketplace and heritage tent, live music and cultural traditions and ceremonies.

Admission to the festival is $5 for adults and free for children age 12 and younger.

FRIDAY:

- 5 p.m.: Performance from Od Srca Adult Tamburtizans 

- 6 p.m.: Parade of Flags and opening ceremony

- 6:30 p.m.: Live music from Bob Kravos and The Boys in the Band

- 9 p.m.: Live music from Youngstown's Houseband

SATURDAY:

- 12:00 p.m.: Gates open

- 12:15 p.m.: Parade of Flags and blessing of the food

- 1 p.m.: Live music from ZAPS

- 2 p.m.: Live music from Rex Taneri Orchestra

- 3:15 p.m.: Live music from Living Traditions Folk Ensemble

- 4:05 p.m.: Performance from St. Nicholas Russian Youth Dance Group

- 5:00 p.m.: Live music from Selo Croation Ensemble

- 6 p.m.: Live music from Harmonia

- 8:30 p.m.: Live music from Chardon Polka Band

- 10:30 p.m.: Vatra lighting ceremony along with a jam session and dance celebration

A new addition to the festival this year includes strolling musicians including Nocne Sove, Mikey Dee, George Batyi and Bob Buzecan of the Chardon Polka Band.
