Head-on crash reported on Route 422 in Girard

Rescue squads from Girard and Liberty Township were called out this morning to a head-on crash along Route 422.

GIRARD, Ohio - Rescue squads from Girard and Liberty Township were called out this morning to a head-on crash along Route 422.

It happened at around 8:30 a.m. near Trumbull Avenue in Girard along Route 422, which is also known as South State Street.

First Responders are saying both vehicles are heavily damaged.

21 News is working to find out if anyone was seriously injured and if traffic is being impacted.
