WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio - The Weathersfield Flag Day Festival kicks off today, offering three days of live music, carnival attractions, and community spirit. The festival, running through Saturday, June 14, at 3750 South Main Street, promises entertainment for all ages, including a parade, car show, and a new scholarship color run.

Today, Thursday, June 12, the festival grounds will be open from 5 to 11 p.m. Attendees can enjoy midway attractions and carnival games throughout the evening. Live music will fill the air from 7 to 11 p.m. with a performance by the Random Strangers band.

Friday, June 13, also runs from 5 to 11 p.m. Highlights include the festival parade stepping off at 6 p.m., followed by a performance by the band RDNA from 7 to 11 p.m.

The festival concludes Saturday, June 14, with a full day of activities from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The day begins with the Addison Beard Scholarship Color Run at 10 a.m., followed by the "Rumble in the Ridge" Car Show, which will display vehicles from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Park Street Brass Band will perform from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and the Old Skool Band will close out the festival's live music from 7 to 11 p.m.

In addition to the scheduled events, the festival will feature food concessions, a beer tent, bocce courts, vendors and novelties throughout its duration. Rides and carnival games will also be available daily on the midway.
