YOUNGSTOWN The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) has temporarily adjusted the Michael Kusalaba Library's hours following a recent incident involving a sword-wielding suspect.
As a follow up to the incident, which occurred Friday July 25, the library will temporarily operate under adjusted hours to ensure enhanced staffing during high-traffic periods.
The library will remain open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, but will operate from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
From there, PLYMC will evaluate the effectiveness of these revised hours and decide later on whether or not they will remain in place.
Stay tuned to 21 News and stay connected with the library on its website and social media pages for updates on the situation.
