A Mercer County Marine died serving his country, but his legacy continues.

Twenty-eight-year-old Sergeant Michael Marzano was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in 2005.

Today, U-S Representative Phil English announced legislation to rename the Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Marzano's honor.

He says, "Mercer County's V-A Clinic has been providing quality care in recent months to local veterans who now have a local opportunity to get their health care needs met.  By renaming the clinic after Sgt. Marzano, at the request of local veterans, PA's congressional delegation is honoring all of those that we lost."

The Hermitage facility will be called the Michael A. Marzano Mercer V-A Clinic.
