The Youngstown man arrested in connection with the disappearance of a child 6-years ago appears before a judge by video arraignment.
44-year-old David Sharpe pled not guilty to the 5-count indictment by a grand jury for murder, tampering with evidence, gross abuse of a corpse, endangering children and permitting child abuse.
Sharpe's former live-in girlfriend Jennifer Snyder had custody of 15-year-old Jimmy Higham when police say the child was murdered in June of 2001 and then his body was dismembered and disposed of.
Jennifer Snyder has implicated Sharpe in the child's death. Snyder is not charged with the killing but detectives allege she helped dispose of Jimmy Higham's body and then reported
