The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of western Maryland, east central Ohio, Pennsylvania,
and West Virginia, including the following areas, in western
Maryland, Garrett. In east central Ohio, Belmont, Carroll,
Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson OH,
Monroe, Muskingum, Noble, and Tuscarawas. In Pennsylvania,
Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette,
Fayette Ridges, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson PA, Lawrence,
Washington, Westmoreland, and Westmoreland Ridges. In West
Virginia, Brooke, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Hancock,
Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Preston, Ridges of Eastern
Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, Western Tucker, and
Wetzel.

* Through Thursday evening

* Repeated periods of heavy rainfall are possible through
Thursday. The combination of a prolonged heavy rain threat and
already saturated ground will provide optimal conditions for
flash flooding.

* From 8 PM EDT this evening through Thursday evening

* Additional moderate to heavy rainfall is expected through
Thursday. Any rainfall will quickly run off, which may lead to
additional or worsening flooding. Storm total rainfall through
Thursday evening will generally be 1 to 2 inches with isolated
higher amounts possible.

* The risk for flash flooding will remain elevated, particularly
in poor drainage areas near creeks, streams and ditches and in
urban areas. Street flooding is also possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch is issued when there is a potential for flash
flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. Monitor
