BOARDMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Boardman Spartans may be on the verge of naming a new football coach.

Sources tell 21 Sports that Boardman "is close" to naming Mark D'Eramo as their new head football coach.

A school board meeting is scheduled for Monday where D'Eramo is expected to be approved. D'eramo has spent several years as an assistant with the Spartans.
