The Place Where the Lord Provides gave away 500 turkeys Wednesday evening in addition to grocery bags full of other necessities to make a Thanksgiving meal.
All the items were donated from surrounding communities.
The pastor says the goal of the give-a-way is to bless the Lord by blessing the people.
