Golf pro native partners with Covelli Enterprises

WARREN, Ohio- A local pro golfer will be wearing the Panera Bread logo on the green in the new year.

Covelli Enterprises is sponsoring PGA golfer Jason Kokrak for the 2013 season. The Warren J.F.K. grad won two state titles in high school.

With one full season of the PGA tour under his belt, Kokrak says he's ready and proud to wear a local logo.

"It's a great thing too, for me to represent my hometown, represent the community," Kokrak said.

"Hopefully I can play well and bring a little bit more publicity for Panera Bread on a national level.

Kokrak will tee-off in the PGA opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii in January.

Covelli Enterprises operates 250 bakery-cafes across the country and is the largest franchise of Panera.
