WARREN, Ohio - The attorney for the Trumbull County Amish man accused of raping young girls has entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity on his client's behalf.

Daniel Miller is charged with 17 counts of rape, gross sexual imposition and sexual battery.

On Monday, Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Peter Kontos ordered a competency evaluation for the West Farmington man. Results are expected within 30 to 60 days.

The prosecutor's office says the seven victims are young females that were under the age of 13 when the alleged incidents were believed to have taken place. His next pre-trial is scheduled for April 15.
