GIRARD, Ohio- The superintendent of Girard City Schools is praising the community for their ongoing support.
Sixty-two percent of voters approved a 3.9 mills renewal levy on May 7th. Superintendent David Cappuzzello said the levy will generate about $150,000 for the district.
"We have great support from our community, it's just outstanding," said Cappuzzello. "Everything we do, they show up for, they support our kids. It's just continued support of how we're trying to operate and the great things we're trying to do with our kids."
Cappuzzello said the community has approved the levy several times in recent years.
