OSU football coach Urban Meyer keynote speaker at annual charity dinner in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Ohio State University Head Football Coach Urban Meyer will be in Youngstown Monday.

Meyer will be the keynote speaker for the eighth annual "Champions Among Us" dinner, an event sponsored by PNC Bank in support of the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, according to a release.

Meyer, who took up coaching duties at OSU in 2011, will be joined by Cleveland Browns football player John Greco, who played football at Boardman High School.

Three local athlete standouts will be honored as well and the dinner will include a performance by country music singer and Boardman native Sarah Turner.

The dinner, described as the largest fundraiser of the year for the charity, will be held at the Covelli Centre and will include a silent auction and cash bar.
