ALLIANCE, Ohio -

ALLIANCE, Ohio - Alliance police say two Trumbull County men were arrested following an alleged theft spree at three big box hardware stores in two states.

Police reports say that 31-year-old Robin Woomer of Niles and 31-year-old Brian Fetty of Girard, stole items from Lowe's stores in Alliance and Boardman Township in Ohio, and in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.

Police arrested the two men Sunday night at the Lowe's on State Street in Alliance.  Inside the car, police found 18 spools of electrical wire valued at $1,174.

The report says that both men admitted to police that Woomer took his mother's car, then drove Fetty to the three stores, where Fetty would allegedly steal the wire.

Fetty is charged with receiving stolen property. Woomer is charged with complicity, and driving on a suspended license.
