YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Construction workers will show their support for nurses trying to obtain a new labor contract with Northside Hospital.

The Western Reserve Building and Construction Trades Council says some of it's members will deliver lunch to the nurses who are still on the the picket line.

Members of the Ohio Nurses Association went on strike for 24 hours Tuesday. Members have been working without a contract for 14 months.

At last report, not all of the striking nurses have been allowed back to work. However, the hospital issued a statement saying that they'll call back employees after replacement workers finish working the three day period for which they were contracted.

The nurses also tell 21 News they plan to set up pickets at an undisclosed location.
