Youngstown man killed after being hit by a car while doing yard work

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A man was killed while doing yard work on the city's south side on Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses tell 21 News the accident happened around 2:30 p.m.

A van traveling along Delason Avenue left the roadway and struck a man raking leaves in a front yard.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
