AUSTINTOWN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Detectives are looking for clues to solve a burglary in a residential neighborhood.
A resident of Aldrich Road tells police he came home on Monday to find the house ransacked.
Police say someone broke a window in a rear door and unlocked the deadbolt to gain entry.
The home owner reports that missing items include an assault-type rifle, a pistol, 950 rounds of ammunition, and cash, possibly exceeding an amount of $4,000.
A fifty inch flat screen television had been moved from the bedroom to the kitchen. Police speculate that the thief or thieves were frightened off before they cold take the TV.
The resident was taking inventory to see if other items are missing.
