HUBBARD, Ohio - A truck fire temporarily shut down traffic in the east bound lane of Interstate 80 in Hubbard on Thursday.

A truck carrying lime caught fire just west of the route 62 exit just before noon on Thursday.  By 12:30 p.m., traffic was backed up to Meridian Road in Austintown.

State troopers tell 21 News that one lane was opened until the truck could removed from the highway so both lanes could be used.

The driver exited the truck without injury.
