Man accused of holding a mother and daughter hostage in custody

WARREN, Ohio - A Warren man accused of holding a Howland mother a knife point is taken into custody.

Chad Summers, 49, is charged with aggravated burglary and abduction. 

A Howland woman tells police that Summers broke into her home and held knives to her throat and stomach Tuesday night.

The victim says Summers told her daughter, who was also home at the time, that she was "going to watch her mother die".

Both woman say they were held hostage inside their mobile home until police arrived. Howland officers ordered Summers to the ground before he was handcuffed. 

Summers pleaded not guilty to the charges in Warren Municipal Court Thursday. He's being held in the Trumbull County Jail without bond.
