Sentencing delayed for former owner of Hardrock Excavating

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Sentencing has been delayed for the former owner of a waste water company who has pleaded guilty to federal Clean Water Act violations.

Ben Lupo, former owner of Hardrock Excavating, is now scheduled to be sentenced August 5th.

The 63-year-old is charged in the dumping of thousands of gallons of fracking wastewater into a storm sewer.

He faces up to three years in prison and fines of as much as $250,000.
