Boardman Booster Club receives large donation for new stadium complex

A local bank has stepped in to help the Boardman Local School District with a new project.

Cortland Banks has pledged $20,000 to Boardman Booster Club for a new multi-purpose stadium.

A ground breaking ceremony will be held this Friday. 

Boardman schools offer students the opportunity to participate in 22 sports, with 52 athletic teams.  More than 2,000 boys and girls participate in the sports program each year.
