Volunteers recognized for work done at Lake Milton

Posted: Updated:
LAKE MILTON, Ohio -

A special part of the Lake Milton community is celebrating a decade of fun.

Volunteers were recognized on Friday for their efforts to improve the Lake Milton area.

Over the last decade a new amphitheater was built and new docks were put in around the lake.

“If you look at what the lake is today compared to 10o r 20 years back it's a completely different thing. People are traveling from all over not only to move to Lake Milton, but to visit partially because of the amphitheater,” said state senator Joe Schiavoni.

Volunteers helped apply for grants to build the amphitheater and others designed and built the structures.
