Ramps closing for construction in Pulaski Township

PULASKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

PennDOT officials say that ramp improvements at the I-376 and Route 208 interchange in Pulaski Township, Lawrence County, will begin Tuesday, July 22nd, weather permitting.

Beginning at approximately 7:00 a.m., long-term closures of the Route 208 on-ramp to westbound I-376 and the I-376 eastbound off-ramp to Route 208 will occur. The ramps will be closed for 31 consecutive days as crews conduct resurfacing, guide rail updates and drainage improvements. Traffic will be detoured.

Follow Route 208 to the on-ramp to eastbound I-376 Travel eastbound I-376 to the Mitchell Road (Exit 9) interchange Follow Mitchell Road to the on-ramp to westbound I-376 Follow westbound I-376 back to the Route 208 interchange End detour

Continue on eastbound I-376 past the Route 208 interchange Take the Mitchell Road (Exit 9) interchange Follow Mitchell Road to the on-ramp to westbound I-376 Follow westbound I-376 to the New Wilmington/Pulaski Route 208 off-ramp End detour

Additionally, single lane closures will occur in each direction on Route 208 in the bridge area.

PennDOT advises motorists to slow down and use caution when traveling through the area.

    More than 700 people waited outside of Eastwood Mall for a Thanksgiving Day shopping spree. The doors opened at 6 p.m. near the Food Court. The first 500 people got Swag Bags. They were filled with coupons, gift cards and other surprises. The mall will close at 1 a.m. Friday morning.
