MOUNT BLANCHARD, Ohio (AP) - A school superintendent in northwest Ohio says a kindergarten teacher accused of pushing and grabbing one of her students is expected to resign.

Barbara Williams has pleaded not guilty to a child endangerment charge after a surveillance camera appeared to show her shoving and picking the child up by the face.

The Courier newspaper in Findlay reports that Williams' resignation is listed on the agenda of the Riverdale Local Schools board.

Superintendent Eric Hoffman tells the paper he expects the board to receive Williams' resignation Monday evening. It would be effective immediately once the board approves it.

Williams and her attorney have declined to comment about the charges. A message was left Friday with Williams' attorney.

Hoffman says with a new school year coming, it's time to move forward.
