YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

A woman whose daughter was murdered and tossed into a dumpster in Austintown has died.

The Mahoning County Coroner is trying to determine what caused the death of 46 year old Jacqueline Bacher, whose body was discovered Sunday morning at her Roy Street home in Youngstown.

Bacher is the mother of 16-year-old Gina Burger, whose body was found at a garbage transfer station in Mercer County. Investigators say that 18-year-old Rick Williams, IV confessed to stabbing Burger, and putting her body in a dumpster outside an Austintown apartment complex.

Williams is scheduled to go on trial for murder next year.

Bacher was discovered by her 24-year-old daughter Ashley Stiles, who found her mother face down on the living room floor.

Stiles told officers that she last saw her mother sitting on a couch at around midnight, noting that she kept dropping her lit cigarette. The police report notes that Bacher had a history of heroin use.

Bacher was hospitalized for undisclosed reasons in July, just hours after Williams was charged with murdering her daughter.
