Brookfield police seek truck that dropped 32 tons of steel on Route 82
Drivers encountered some unusual obstacles on State Route 82 in Brookfield on Wednesday.

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Drivers encountered some unusual obstacles on State Route 82 in Brookfield on Wednesday.
Authorities say two 32,000 pound coils of rolled steel were found in the middle of the westbound lanes near Route 62 at around 11 a.m.
It's believed that the steel fell of a truck that came from the NMLK plant in Farrell
Brookfield Police say they will be able to locate the driver by tracing identification marks on the coils.
Once found, the driver wil be charged with having an unsecured load and the more serious charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
The Ohio Department of Transportation was called to the scene to help redirect traffic around the coils which were removed from the highway before 1 p.m.
