Hubbard Police are circulating a surveillance photo in hopes of identifying a man who attempted to rob the PNC Bank branch on West Liberty Street Thursday afternoon.

A teller tells investigators that a man walked into the bank before 2:30 p.m. and handed over a note demanding money. The teller did not see a weapon, but says the man had his hand in his pocket.

When the teller told him that there was no money in the cash drawer, the suspect took his note back and left the bank empty-handed.

Police believe the suspect drove away from a church parking lot in a black Chevy Traverse.

The suspect is described as a white male, clean shaven, short hair, approximately six feet tall, and about 20-years-old.

He was wearing a darl gray hoodie, mesh shorts, a dark gray baseball cap and a batting glove on his hand.

If you have information about this person or the robbery, Hubbard Police ask that you contact Det/Sgt. David Oaks at the Hubbard Police Department by calling 330-534-8153 Ext. 3006.
