WARREN, Ohio - A Trumbull County Grand Jury has indicted a Niles teen for the murder of an elderly woman.
16-year-old Jacob LaRosa is charged with first-degree felonies of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery and a second-degree felony of attempted rape.
Trumbull County Family Court Judge Sandra Stabile Harwood ruled last month that LaRosa be tried as an adult for the murder of 94-year-old Marie R. Belcastro in March.
Authorities say Belcastro died from blunt force head trauma during an attack at her Cherry Avenue home.
