Police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating a body found next to the Save-A-Lot in Hubbard.

The body was discovered just before 12:30 p.m. in a grassy area next to the store on West Liberty Street.

Hubbard Police Detective-Sergeant Chris Moffitt tells 21 News the victim is a white male whose body was snow covered when he was discovered.

When asked if the victim could have died from natural causes police say it is possible.

The coroner arrived on the scene to recover the body just after 3:00 p.m.

The victim's identity and the exact cause of death are still under investigation.

An autopsy will be performed.
